In the 2011 Tour de France the Europcar professioanl road team rode a mixture of C59 frames and some riders opted for the M10 most notably Pierre Rolland who acted as Voeklers lieutentant in the alps. The young climber chose the M10 for its blend of stiffness and comfort with a beautiful point and shoot ability in the descents. Incidentally we have measured the frame weight on a 52s ( which equates to a 56 in most manufacturers) and the frame was 990 grams which is right up there when you consider that Skys Dogma 2s are over 1300 grams! We love these bikes and we would be delighted to help build your bike for the season. Please dont hesitate to call us about the right model for you. The only hard part is choosing from the beutiful colour palette that Colnago offer
The 2012 M10 hasnt been changed this year apart from some new paint schemes and some better graphics. The "structural routing " graphic has been removed from teh top tube due to public and dealer demand
The M10 is a monocoque frame, which is at the top of Colnago range together with C59 Italia. The new lamination technology and materials used manufacturing the M10 make it lighter than the
previous Colnago models and stiffer laterally thanks to a bigger bottom bracket, but with a little more vertical absorption to provide more comfort without in any way sacrificingperformance. With the C-HS1 tapered headtube and a new fork to accommodate it, the M10 is designed to be precise on descents and smoother through corners. Internal brake cable routing for clean lines complements the M10’s classic Colnago looks. There are two Models: one for the electronic groupset Di2 and the other one for the traditional mechanicalgroupsets, allowing to integrate perfectly both solutions without
sacrificing reliability and performance.
