Torico were in action at two different venues and two very different disciplines this weekend . Isaac, Joel, Andy and Rob were at the Avill ball DH stage race. With Andy taking the win in the hardtail category by a country mile. Rob put in a great ride to get 6th in the senior category- minor miracle that he managed to stay on his bike ( maybe he didnt ?? I havent heard from him yet!) Joel put in a great perfomance yet again to take fifth place in the juvenile category and Isaac took fifth in the youth. Both Isaac and Joel are pretty young in their respective categories so next year we should see alot more podiums from these guys. Meanwhile Me and Gaz went over to Wiltshire to ride the lavington blast enduro . We entered the 75km ride and had intentions to pootle around and enjoy the ride. Unfortunately Gaz ran out of cigarettes and dropped out after 50kms ( he was also seen skulking off saying their was a lack of singletrack and too many lycra clad roadies clogging up the trails). I used the ride as a bit of training for a road ride Im doing in 2 weeks (shhhhh Im not really turning to the darkside!) and suprisingly came home in 7th. All in all a great weekend of racing and riding
